Dubai Expo 2020: Observing the Theme Weeks to Address the Global Challenges

Revolutionary thoughts can come from far and wide to anybody. These thoughts, when put into action, become an innovative method not only for self but also worldwide. So, for the first time in history, they share these thoughts worldwide with a worldwide expo called Dubai Expo 2020.

They aimed all of them at exploring key issues of global significance. Let’s begin our journey to the various themes that is in store in the Dubai Expo 2020:

Climate and Biodiversity (3 -9 Oct 2021):

This event makes us work together to regulate climate revamping and shield biodiversity. Grabbing conclusive communal action to shield susceptible communities and ecosphere. It also nourishes a workable future that converts human ventures to engage within Earth’s space boundaries. 

Space (17 -23 October 21):

Space is an event that discusses the safety and productivity of expanding new frontiers. It will spotlight the recent innovations in space studies and explore platforms to debate central topics like women in space and the UAE’s role in it. 

Urban and Rural Development (31/10–6/11 21):

This event focuses on life and growth in harmony with our planet, with the participation of UN-Habitat, Siemens, and the Aga Khan Development Network and will target five major topics of cities and dialectal settlements, approach to services, civic planning, architecture, transit, and thorough country development.

Tolerance and Inclusivity (14–20/11/21):

Tolerance and inclusivity is an event that can foster a greater normal understanding to allow more tolerant and inclusive societies. In collaboration with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, it will target civilization pluralism, synchronizing and recognizing between different religions, localities, and traditions, that involves the willpower of people, serenity and safety, and media credibility. 

Knowledge and Learning (12-18/12/21):

This event focuses on how to tackle and challenge our skills to the present day so that we can groom in the future. They organized it in collaboration with Dubai Cares and will probe the expectation in education, knowledge, workforce, spontaneous education, and skill-based systems.

Travel and Connectivity (9–5/01/22):

This event focuses on the stability of the effect while expanding the digital world besides its substantial existence. They organized it in collaboration with Emirates and Etisalat, the sequence will cover digital communication, administration, smart transit, stock chains, business, and travel. 

Global Goals (16-22/01/22):

Global Goals target what we have to do together now so that in 2030 it will be a better world. They partnered it with the United Nations, and this event will be only for women and public development. 

Health and Wellness (27/1/21 to 2/2/21):

The Health and wellness event will showcase a happy and healthy world. The major contributors of these events are World Health Organisation and Mohammed Bin Rashid Medicine and Health Sciences University and planned to merge and debate the healthcare systems, medical tech clarifications, healthcare services for domestic localities, and fitness and happiness. Awareness of these problems is more important in the present pandemic world.

Food, Agriculture, and Livelihoods (17–23/2/22):

This event will focus on how to grow food continuously to meet the demands of the future. The spotlight will be on the topics like food systems, waste, safety, small agricultural schemes, and food shields. The major contributors will be PepsiCo, the Minister of State’s Office for Food and Water Security, along with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

Water (20-26/3/22):

Water targets protecting the most valuable resource for today and in the future. This wave will end with the event in partnership with the Minister of State’s Office for Food and Water Security, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Industry, and the Minister of Climate Change and Environment. The topics for the debate include water management, ocean and ocean economy, water-based atmosphere systems, water storage networks and hygiene.
