Located in front of the Museum of Islamic Art, Gallery AL Riwaq was built in 2010. It works under the sponsorship of the Qatar Museums Authority’s Board of Trustees, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and pursues to thrive with new and thrilling exhibitions all the time. 

Gallery AL Riwaq is a constant gallery space for stand-in exhibitions and has played a very fortunate part in securing Qatar as a hub of art and culture within the country and also in the UAE. It has also played an anchor to some of the most major and eminent artists from across the world like Takashi Murakami and Damien Hirst who have displayed their unique and fascinating artworks at the AL Riwaq Gallery which have exactly curious people of all ages. 

Qatar Museums (QM) Gallery Katara:

The QM Gallery Katara is located in Qatar’s famous Katara Cultural Village and was developed in 2010 as a plan for Qatar Museums to reveal their observation, artworks, and assorted for the common man to see. It also displays local artists’ talent as well as international artists. It also involves organizing exhibitions on a global level. 

Exhibitions are conducted every two months and although it may vary in artistic media – sports, photography, architecture, sculpture, and art – here the subject of the group rotates around the ‘human’ which guests are able to accept and associate with on a more intimate level. 

The Gallery has a casual and friendly atmosphere; it has been outlined to summon observers who come to the Gallery to marvel at the art that is on offer, the most popular being those that portray female Arab athletes or the struggle faced by the female icons. The Katara Art Center (KAC) is a present and modern art institution and gallery space that is devised over 1000 square meters and protects different art forms and regulations where people are exposed to unfamiliar and present approaches towards art and design. 

Snuggled within Doha’s popular Katara Cultural Village, the KAC is familiar among art lovers and is an art core that displays and uplifts emerging artists from the Arab region who reveal their artworks at this gallery. 

The Center was built by Tariq Al Jaidah in 2012 and is a privately run platform that is allocated to contemporary art practices and innovation in several art disciplines. Its target is to motivate and captivate artists, art lovers, and people of all ages and gain knowledge about the significance of art and culture through stand-in exhibitions, execution, workshops, and talks on art. 

Souq Waqif Art Center:

The Souq Waqif Art Center supplies a gallery that houses paintings, chisels, and another mixed-media artistic hounding that, though current and modern, yet, are still based on Qatari style, culture, and its traditions. The objective of this gallery is to assist and preserve the artistic culture and traditions that are an innate part of Qatar and the Arab region and then display them in a modern way that is easy to appreciate the visitors to the gallery.
